The Obligatory "I'm not dead" Post

I'm not dead, just uninspired. I have gone to post many times since the last post but every time I load this screen and start to type I feel like I'm being redundant. Further, I am not sure what may or may not interest my readers and possibly make a difference in the grand scheme of things. I know I have readers. My website statistics show people stumbling in here from all over the world, some staying for more than a couple of seconds. These readers are a bit shy of course as I have tried every way I can think of to get you to reply in some way and make this more dialog than monologue. A couple of you have taken the challenge but most just lurk quietly reading. If this blog contains anything the even remotely evokes an emotion in you, love, hate, or general indifference, reply to this post. Tell me what you would like to see. Ask and ye shall receive.

The purpose of the blog is not to appeal to the readers by giving them what they tell you to give them. The attraction is to be original and unique and make them want to come back and read because you are speaking about what you know, what you feel, what you do, etc.

Doing it for someone else is just going through the motions and that is not noteworthy.

I find an easy way to break writers block is to make your blog more of a conversation than monologue. When people feel their opinions are heard and responded to, they are far more likely to return. That and I feel I have covered a lot of what is running through my head of late, thus making new posts on the same subject redundant.

Ok, then if you were a vegetable, what would you be?

If I were a vegetable I would...still be smarter than the president...
